Short-term homestays include many different activities everyday while long-term homestays are based around learning English either privately or through language school. The directors of Kelowna homestay lived in Japan for several years and understand what it is like to be in a different culture.

> KELOWNA HOMESTAY - STUDENT VISA INFORMATION: If you plan to come to Canada for 3 months or longer, you must obtain a student visa. To apply for your student visa you must obtain a letter of acceptance from the school that you wish to attend and present that to a Canadian immigration office in your country. You should do this well before you plan to come to Canada because it takes time to process the application.
> HOW TO APPLY FOR KELOWNA HOMSTAY: To apply to Kelowna Homestay, please fill out the application form on this website. You will need to send $250 for the applcation fee. If you are coming as a short term homestay you must send an additional $500 for the first week. If you are coming as a long term English student you must send an additional $600 for the first month. After that you will pay your host family directly.
